The East Orange Police Department is committed to the positive development of community youth. We're proud to join the hundreds of police departments across the United States in the Police Athletic League Program.

East Orange PAL is designed to foster better communication and cooperation among the law enforcement segment of municipal government and the young people it serves. The Police Athletic League offers an alternative to criminal activity with its recreational, counseling, educational and cultural programs.

The East Orange P.A.L. aims to build partnerships between the Department and the community. Dedicated police officers volunteer their time and energy to the program and members of the community serve on the P.A.L. board.

We encourage the entire East Orange community to become involved in the P.A.L. Program. It indeed "takes an entire village to raise a child."
